Wild flower...you're not alone

As a lot of you know being a military spouse can be  lonely at times especially living away from family as well. There are days that seem to go on forever and others that are too short. It can be an overwhelming feeling of something missing while they are away. Some people don't understand how I can do it but I am reminded I don't have it as bad as others and I am truly not alone.

One of the greatest things I love about being a military wife is the support I feel in the community of the military. Things that your family back home might not understand your military sister can and help you make it through. I want to thank my military wives that have helped me get through the lonely days of separation and rough days with kids. Thank you for understanding, laughing, caring, playing, supporting, and just straight out being there for me. It is a joke that 2 or 3 months being away from our spouses isn't that long. When in civilian world that would be unheard of... we are grateful it is short. It doesn't make it easy and them being away never gets easier but at least we can come together to make it tolerable. It is a relationship and fellowship of friendship I cherish very much. I know I don't have it as hard in life as some others but it doesn't make me less grateful. I know I'm not alone.
God gives us the gift of each others. I believe that He allows us to use each other to make it through life by sharing our time and talents. It makes our world more colorful with the different types of love we encounter through friends, family, and our spouses. To be embraced by those who can help you through tougher times and to embrace those in their  moments of weakness.

On a funnier note I was putting Gabriel down for a nap and this was our conversation.

Gabriel: Mommy where is my whore? Where is my whore?!!!

Me: What???!!! (my thought bubble: he can't be serious?! Where in the world did he hear that? not my son!)
Oooooh Thor! You want your Thor???

Gabriel: Yes whore.

Me: No. Thor. Th-Th-Thor.

Gabriel: Yes Thor.

Aw much better but still really funny.

Some days are I can't believe this is my life. These are truly the glory days. Spending time with my little children in the sunshine. I am so blessed and know it. I am not prefect and pray for God's graces every day but thats a whole new blog. :)
Until we have to part I will hold tight to all my loves.
